Everywhere you’ve been on one map.

Tur is Norwegian for an outing: a hike, a paddle, a ride, a day on skis, anything. TurMap pulls in every route you’ve recorded in Apple Health, and you can import everything else. It all goes onto one Map.

No streaks, no leaderboards, nothing to beat.

Free, and TurMap Plus adds better maps, route planning and more.

Coming soon to the App Store

For iPhone and iPad. Requires iOS 26 or later.

TurMap is in active development, built by one person. Mail hello@turmap.app to hear when it lands, or to test it early.

One trip, not nineteen

Group a multi‑day trek into a single tur with its own route and totals. Each day stays its own recording.

Share a trip, not your address

Turn any trip into a card with its route and elevation profile. Before you post it, TurMap looks for signs it could give away where you live or places you go often, and tells you what it finds.

Fill in what you missed

Add the bus, train, ferry or taxi between trailheads, or the day the battery died, as a GPX from Files or any share sheet, and drop it into the trip.

Every repeat, one line

Walk the same loop two hundred times and it’s one route on the map, not a smudge. Tap it to see every time you did.

One map, not another tracker

You’ve been recording trips for years — on a watch, in GPX files on a hard drive, in Apple Health. They sit in a dozen places and you have never once seen them together.

TurMap puts every route in your Apple Health history on one map, automatically, and lets you add anything else from a GPX file. That’s the whole idea. It doesn’t coach you, score you, or ask what you’re training for.

Built around the multi-day trip

Some apps treat a nineteen‑day traverse as nineteen unrelated workouts. Others merge them into one file and lose the individual days. TurMap keeps both: each day stays itself, and the trip is a real object with its own trace, its own totals, and its own place on the map.

Gaps you don’t fill stay gaps. TurMap never guesses a line between two days and never counts distance it can’t see.

Free, with an optional Plus

Your history map is free, and so are GPX export and share cards.

Wondering how much of a trail like the Bruce you’ve still got left to walk? TurMap Plus adds topo maps, trail coverage, route planning, offline maps and more.

Let Plus lapse and nothing you’ve recorded is locked away.

Your map stays yours

No account. No login. No analytics. Not even the developer can see your data.

Read exactly what does and doesn’t leave your device. It’s short, and it names everything that does.

If you want a training app, this isn’t it

There is no live tracking, no segments, no leaderboards, no training plan, no social feed, and no route‑of‑the‑week. If you want to know how fast you were, plenty of apps do that well and this isn’t one of them.

TurMap is for the other question: where have I actually been?

Why I made this

In the past few years I have started travelling more: both locally and abroad. Each time I go on long multi‑day hikes, but I never had a good way to share these with friends. I could share single days, but never the whole trip.

And then of course some days my devices failed me, and I soldiered on; “some day I’ll fix that”. Today is that day.

Everything that worked is in Apple Health, but then I have folders of donated tracks from friends and family, and that scary time before smart watches 😆. Now I can safely pull in that Health data and add all the old GPX files, string them all together into multi‑day treks, and make sharable cards for friends to follow along. Then plan my new adventures!
